Description: Are you considering replacing your existing furnace with a heat pump or mini-split, but unsure if it's right for you? If so, you should definitely attend this info session and community social, which will feature a presentation from Rory Toelle of Northwind Heating and Air Conditioning. You'll also hear from The Electric Home Company and homeowners who have had heat pumps installed, and will be able to ask them your most burning questions.

Description: Are you curious about eco-friendlier end of life options in our area, such as green burial, water cremation, memorial forests, and more? If so, you should definitely attend this interactive info session, where we will be eating ice cream and chatting about a universal topic: death! The event will feature speakers from Cremation by Water, Inclusive Funeral Care LLC , and Scrappy Affirmations.

The Plastic Problem: A Community Event + Hour of Action

When: Thursday, March 12th, 6:30 - 8:00 PM

Where: Bartleby’s Ice Cream (Lincoln Square)

Description: Are you curious about the impact plastic has on our society? Do you know the damage it causes but don't know what to do about it? This info session and hour of action, which will feature a presentation from Organizing for Plastic Alternatives (OPA) and the Coalition for Plastic Reduction (CPR), is a great opportunity to learn AND act. The event will also have a community meet-and-greet portion where you can check in and buy a sweet treat from Bartleby’s, while meeting fellow eco-enthusiasts.
