Description: We’ll be joining the Morton Arboretum’s Chicago Region Tree Initiative to do a tree ID walk through LaBagh Woods in advance of Fall Nature Fest! This is an all-ages event.

Fall Nature Fest
When: Saturday, September 12th, 12 - 3 PM
Where: LaBagh Woods
Description: Fall Nature Fest is the place to be! This annual free festival hosted by Cook County Commissioner Bridget Degnen’s office introduces thousands to the Cook County Forest Preserves, sustainable small businesses, and eco-friendly organizations from across Cook County. Chicago Environmentalists will be tabling at this event, so we hope you come say hi!

Humboldt Park Birdwatching + Litter Cleanup
When: Sunday, September 13th. Optional Birdwatching is from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM, and the litter cleanup is from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
Where: Humboldt Park (the actual park). We’ll be meeting at the corner of Kedzie and Augusta.
Description: Our litter cleanup group, Cleanup Club Chicago, will be joining the Chicago Ornithological Society for some bird watching followed by a litter cleanup in beautiful Humboldt Park!
