Description: Are you passionate about researching sustainability topics? Would you like to be a part of a diverse team of eco-warriors who are driving meaningful change in our city? If so, Chicago Environmentalists invites you to learn about joining its volunteer research team, where you can contribute to our innovative eco website while building your skill set and resume. Please note that this is a repeat of the event we hosted on 12/4/25.

Everything You Want to Know about Heat Pumps!

When: Thursday, January 15th, 7:00 - 8:30 PM

Where: The Eco Flamingo Market Cafe

Description: Are you considering replacing your existing furnace with a heat pump or mini-split, but unsure if it's right for you? Are you interested in reducing your home's carbon footprint and energy use? If so, you should definitely attend this info session and community social, which will feature a presentation from Northwind Heating and Air Conditioning, which has been installing these systems for the last 5 years. You'll also have a Q&A with multiple homeowners who have had heat pumps installed.
